Suggestions for Hosting...?

I am considering starting a hosting company via puchasing a re-seller package. What I am curious about is with so many people providing hosting now, how would I get clients? I know advertising and such, but a small company would just get lost in the shuffle. Is there any other ways to get clients without dropping thousands of dollars on advertising that I would be lucky to get 20 clients from? Any help would be much appreciated because this is really the only thing holding me up from going through with it.

The hosting field is huge and competitive. What I would do is market locally. This is one of the best ways and overlooked market.

Pass out business cards or other promotional items with your business name and website imprinted on them. Hand them out to everyone.

Consider visiting your local Chamber of Commerce.

Offer other services like building a website for businesses. Also check with schools, community centers, and churches as places of business.

WHAT IS AN IMAGE HOSTING SIGHT THAT...doesnt lead you to the hosting site when you click the hosted picture? like say i got the html code of my image from photobucket, when i preview my web page and i click on the image, it%26#039;ll lead me to photobucket and thats annoying =P maybe an html code generator? Which video hosting site to choose?

For a little over a year now my friends, and I have been making short little videos for the amusement of our other acquaintances. Something that has always troubled me though is how video hosting sites manage the videos I submit. For example, a friend pointed out that if a video becomes successful on Youtube it means Youtube can have the rights to the video itself. If this is true or false I am not sure.

In the end my question technically is, what video hosting site provides the least restrictions or tricks on your work? Which ones don%26#039;t put somewhere in their Terms %26amp; Agreements that they have full rights to whatever you upload, and instead let you fully keep your video?

I apologize if I ANNOY anyone with my ignorance concerning this subject matter, but if I got anything wrong just let me know because... THE MORE YOU KNOW...

If you copyright, or withhold all rights to your own work, youtube should not have any rights to the movies. I personally think youtube is the best place to start off. Read their user agreements and see if you can dig up any answers. I wish you the best of luck with your hobby.

Warcraft 3 Hosting Problem?

Ok I have a wireless comcast connection and I%26#039;m using Trend Micro pc Cillin. I dunno if I have done it correctly but I forwarded both incoming and the outgoing to 6112 and used Warcraft 3 Frozen throne as the application.

I am still having a problem hosting though. Is it even possible for me to host a game?
